Consignment Agreement Policy

Introduction:

Thank you for choosing Rewearit Room as a platform to sell your items through consignment. This Consignment Agreement Policy outlines the terms and conditions of our consignment arrangement to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.

1. Consignment Process

1.1 We have designated consignment drop off locations so that you can drop off your items at no cost.

1.2 (Soon to launch) Customers can post their items for sale on our online shop through the consignment program or via one of our advertised drop off locations.

1.3 (Soon to launch) Customers are responsible for covering the cost of postage to send the items to our designated address through our Rewearit Room Packs once they become available.

2. Item Acceptance

2.1 We reserve the right to accept or reject any items for consignment based on quality, condition, market demand, and our discretion.

2.2 We will notify customers of the acceptance or rejection of their items within a reasonable time frame.

3. Pricing and Commission

3.1 We will work with customers to determine the selling price of certain consignment items.

3.2 Our online shop will retain a commission from the final selling price of each item excluding GST and postage.

3.3 We are pleased to offer you the flexibility to set prices for select items, subject to approval by the Rewearit Room team.

4. Marketing and Sales

4.1 We will handle the marketing and promotion of consigned items on our online platform.

4.2 We will process orders, handle customer inquiries, and manage the fulfillment of sales.

5. Payment and Settlement

5.1 Payments for sold items will be processed within an agreed time frame (e.g., monthly, quarterly).

5.2 Customers will receive their share of the sale proceeds, minus our commission, postage and any applicable fees, through an agreed-upon payment method.

6. Duration and Return of Items

6.1 The consignment agreement will be valid for an agreed-upon period being 3 months unless terminated earlier by either party.

6.2 Unsold items may be returned to the customer at their expense or donated to a charitable organization as agreed upon.

7. Condition of Items

7.1 Customers will refer to our unaccepted items and brands we don’t take to ensure they adhere to rewearit room policies.

7.2 Customers will be liable for any misrepresentation of items, including legal repercussions.

8. Termination of Agreement

8.1 Either party may terminate the consignment agreement at any time if item is unsold, with written notice.

8.2 Upon termination, any unsold items must be collected by the customer within a specified time frame.

9. Liability

9.1 We will take reasonable care of consigned items but will not be liable for loss, theft, damage, or destruction beyond our control.

9.2 Customers are advised to insure valuable items before sending them for consignment.

10. Agreement Acceptance

By sending items for consignment to our online shop, customers agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Consignment Agreement Policy.

Effective Date
